I have been involved in Motocross for 22 years now and I am a Level 2 Accredited Coach. I started out racing at the age of 6 on a Yamaha PW50. Little did I know at this time this would be the beginning of a journey through the sport of Motocross that is far from over.

Over the years I have had opportunities to race all over Australia and in other countries. One of the biggest highlights came at the age of 16 when I was able to travel to America for 6 weeks to train and race with a group of 14 riders and these riders were selected by Stephen Gall. I moved on from here to race for Star Yamaha in 2000 and 2001, achieving some good results and earning a ride with Serco Yamaha for the next year. By this time I had been coaching for Stephen Gall for a couple of years and learning the ropes in between race events. In 2003 I raced for Staintune Yamaha, a team owned by Lyndon Heffernan.

Throughout my racing career I have been lucky enough to spend time at the Australian Institute Of Sport as a racer and also as a coach. I have been with Yamaha for 8 years now and have been given the opportunity to be the Y-AIM (Yamaha Australian Institute of Motocross) agent for QLD. This meaning that I travel through QLD conducting riding schools and courses for all ages, all levels of riders, on all makes of bikes. I work closely with Scott Bishop's Queensland Yamaha Development Teams, assisting with any knowledge I can pass on about racing and training and I am also fortunate to have them as guest demonstration riders at selected schools.

Further on from the Motocross schools, I assist in the presentation of Elite Training Camps that are put together by Motorcycling Australia and run at the Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre and Australian Institute Of Sport.
